Let's start with a basic truth. The most important part of your home is the foundation.
That's because the foundation provides support, stability, and longevity to the structure. The foundation carries the entire weight of your house (the floors, the walls, the roof, and the contents). If you build your foundation the wrong way, nothing else will matter.
At ENERGY PARDNERS LLC we are obsessed with designing and building strong, durable, and water resistant foundations.
The Building Envelope
We build high performance floor, wall, and roof assemblies, using 2x6 advanced wood framing techniques. Our homes are compliant with the 2021 International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC).
Our preferred energy saving solution? We cover the entire exterior of your home with continuous insulation (CI). By installing an air sealed layer of rigid CI on the outside of the wood framing, we create an uninterrupted thermal barrier that significantly improves the energy performance of your walls and floors. This will reduce your heating and cooling costs, and you will feel very comfortable inside your new home.
